Business Angels WebConference with startups

We are pleased to invite to an online web-conference with startup companies organized by the Mannheim Business Angels. Attendance is free and open to everyone interested in startups and early-stage-investments. The alumni-based Mannheim Business Angels network connects entrepreneurs with its members/angel investors that can help them with seed-capital, expertise and their network.
In our next web-conference on Monday, the 23rd of June, 20.00h, three young companies will present their innovative products/services. We will start with a keynote held by Dr. Alexander von Frankenberg, managing director at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF). HTGF is Germany´s largest venture capital investor in early-stage companies.
The first company EZBike will be presented by two alumni from Essec & Mannheim. EZBike rents cool and fast eBikes to companies and their employed young professionals at an affordable price. Employees pay for the rent through their gross salary, utilizing tax advantages for corporate bikes. EZBike wants to change the current expensive and unhealthy commuting mode of employees into a greener, cheaper and healthier mode.
The second company presenting is PlayEnable, founded by alumnis from London Business School and Tallinn University of Technology. It is an online platform connecting sports enthusiasts with sports activity providers, allowing them to find & book sport activities (e.g. Fitness, Yoga, Martial Arts, Dancing classes) near to them. PlayEnable is a recipient of the Deloitte Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Founders Award.
The third company presenting is BCB Biometric Credit Bureau, founded by alumnis from Frankfurt School of Finance and EBS University. BCB offers services tailor-made to microfinance institutions (MFIs) in sub-Saharan Africa, collecting and analyzing personal loan information using a unique IT solution, thus enabling financial inclusion for the bottom-of-pyramid population. For investing angels, BCB combines financial return with social impact and is part of an acceleration programme at Social Impact Lab Frankfurt.
All startups present for 15 minutes each, followed by a question & answer-session.
