Head of Event-Management (f/m) – Mannheim Business Angels network
About us
The Mannheim Business Angels network is a not-for-profit alumni-based Business Angels network. As Business Angels, we invest seed-capital into startup-companies, help with expertise and provide access to our network.
The opportunity
We are currently looking for a Head of Event-Management (f/m) (Volunteer/pro Bono).
Your tasks
- organization of both offline- and online-events for the Mannheim Business Angels network
- offline events incl. our Angels-Tours (1-3 day excursions, so far in Berlin and Rhine-Neckar-area) as well as local events (Angels-Get-Togethers) in various locations (e.g. Berlin, Paris, Frankfurt and London)
- for offline-events, there will be typically a local-member of our network acting as a local point of contact
- online events are our quarterly web-conferences where startups present their innovations to potential investors
- this volunteer/pro Bono-position requires on average between 3-5h a week and can be done location-independent via internet
Your qualifications
- previous experience in event-management a plus
- previous experience in venture capital, private equity, angel investments a plus
- previous experience as a volunteer / in a registered association a plus
- entrepreneurial mindset
- “Can do” attitude
